oh thank fucking god someone asked for chuck so i can climb up to a rooftop and screech CHUCK IS ASEXUAL!!!! at the top of my fuckiNG LUNGS HOLY SHIT ok ay. okay. here we go.
i have somehow decided that chuck is a huge ace (not repulsed by sex, just really not into it unless someone else brings it up). not averse to the idea in theory, but it’s not one of his priorities and he just genuinely doesn’t think about it unless prompted.
however, when coupled with  being grossly selfconscious and pretty much incapable of handling attention of any sort (he doesn’t deserve it, obviously), putting him in any situation that might possibly lead to sexy things is going to end in that helpless “i want an ejector seat for life” whimper he makes sometimes.
he thinks kissing is pretty cool he guesses but even thinking past that just makes him go deer in the headlights and turn bright red, basically
however i also headcanon him as having a GIGANTIC FUCKING COMPLEX ABOUT IT because lol like motorcity cares, but they don’t have words for this shit either — actually my feels about sexuality in motorcity are an entirely different post, so moving right along ho hum
okay okay i’ll try to wrap this up, because i have a lOT OF CHUCK FEELINGS!!!
body issues out the fucking wazoo. he has the distinct and unrelenting feeling that his outside is too big for his inside and he should be taking up less space because his personality is too small. he doesn’t like skin contact. at all. he doesn’t like contact IN GENERAL. the other burners and claire are basically the only people allowed to touch him without screaming. BUT!! the ones that are allowed to are in the magical realm of him actually wanting hugs or handholding or shit sometimes, even if they don’t get why that’s a big deal.
ask me about hair sometime. i have… a lot of feelings.

MAJOR FUCKING SPOILERS FOR EVERYMANHYRBID UP IN THIS POST YO
okay the thing to understand about how i write/think evan is that
he likes it.
he likes the violence. he likes the blades. he likes the blood. he likes making them squirm. he likes digging his nails into flesh and seeing how fast it will rend. he likes snarling until his throat is raw. he likes the bloodstains on his clothes and on his grey matter. he likes shaking the can until the last drops of gasoline splatter out onto the corpse, he likes striking the match. he likes the taste of meat and marrow. he likes hurting her.
he likes hurting her.
and he hates that more than anything. what gets him at the end of the day is that the habit didn’t make him do it.
he might have needed the push, but it didn’t make him.

lmfao i still have absolutely no idea how to reply to replies forgive my lazyass response method
okay gladostime even though i am BITTERLY FURIOUS that i can’t replay 2 right now (spoilers spoilers spoilersssss for the end of the game!!)
as far as headcanons go, a lot of people seem to jump on the ‘caroline being an ancestor of chell’s’ wagon and i just do not get it?? like i guess i could see how it would work in terms of worldbuild, but interpreting ‘cara mi addio’ as maternal just baffles me completely. i cannot see her feelings towards chell as anything other than grudging respect and confused robolust (i could talk basically forever about “THE ITCH” as a metaphor for addiction and/or sex and what wheatley’s babblings while in the chassis mean in her case), and if they’re protective by any measure i will eat my hat. all of my hats.
also, i once had a grossly selfindulgent university au where she confessed her aggressive lesbian lust to chell via mixtape, because she could only express herself through song.
i am a bad person and should feel bad but i do not.

‘I hoped to portray Takato as a very normal, un-exceptional elementary school student. The basic concept for Digimon Tamers is “a normal elementary school student has a great adventure over the span of a year”. This character should not be a stereotypical leader-hero, shouting “Let’s go!” at the drop of a hat. But on the other hand, he mustn’t be perceived as a weak-willed wimp. He must be full of curiosity, fascinated by monsters and digimon, but also flawed enough that he might brag or exaggerate things in front of his friends —- in other words, an every-day, regular child.’- Chiaki J. Konaka, writer of Digimon Tamers, talking about Takato

So often, modernizations and movie adaptations get a bad rap, and those who love the heart and soul of the original works fume at them with just indignation. But every once in a while, the adaptation isn’t bad. Every so often, they bring old worlds to new people, and that’s the best thing there is.

God bless this post.

Editor’s note: By now, you’ve probably heard about the terrible (because it’s all too common) incident that happened recently at the Hollywood Laugh Factory between comedian Daniel Tosh and a female audience member who was vocal…

i actually have family who used to work in stand-up, and this rings true with a loooot of what they’ve told me. if you’re going to be saying shit that people might not like, you’d better be sure that it’s really fucking funny.

gamebreaking:

today I die is a game that shows the importance of words and reaching back from suicidal depression. You play with a poem, changing the words to change the enviroment and solve the puzzles given to you, to revive yourself and the dead world.
It’s also short, but smart, and has 2 different endings. It’s a beautiful game and uplifting.
