drawing all these narration society babies lately, you’d almost think i was on a nostalgia kick or something, wow. kallera’s species has never really had a solid design, and i still worry about them being too busy a lot. the german shepherdesque slope on the spine is a fairly new feature, and probably here to stay.

more warm up griffins

i don’t know if it counts as warmup if it’s all you draw… either way, rhyke and naer. the former is the peacock/housecat (russian blue!) and the latter is a beared vulture/tiger. 

honestly everyone from jalys’ world is completely detrimental to the plot but i could draw them all day ;v;
